Hello,

I found your blog post when looking for information about SyncRepl from a client application point of view. I share your concern about the "yet to be done", but I do think that the path already covered is huge compared to the situation one year ago, when each server used to use its own replication scheme.

Moreover, from a Java dev point of view, we already have two Java LDAP SDK which support SyncRepl: ApacheDS and UnboundID. That's a good sign of adoption of the standard
